The Strengthen Alabama Homes FORTIFIED™ Roof Grant Program is now accepting applications!

Program Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
- Household Income: Total household income must be below $85,687. This includes all sources of income for every person living in the home.
- Homeowners Insurance: Provide a copy of your Declarations Page showing wind and hail coverage.
- Income & Financial Documentation:
- Two (2) months of bank statements
- Two (2) months of income documentation — or annual award notification — for each income source for every household member
- Property Type: Home must be a single-family residence. (Townhomes, attached homes, and mobile homes are not eligible.)
- Occupancy: The home must be your owner-occupied primary residence, and the applicant must be named on the deed.
- Proof of Ownership: Provide a copy of the recorded deed.
