Tax-Deduction Notice
Habitat Birmingham is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donated goods to Habitat ReStore usually qualify for a tax deduction. Habitat Birmingham provides a receipt at the time of donation for tax purposes. Donors are advised that IRS has specific regulations for filing tax-deductible contributions. It is donor’s responsibility to value and report in-kind donations pursuant to current IRS regulations.
