Building on Faith

Partnering with Habitat gives people of all faiths an opportunity to create a community of compassion through service.

Habitat for Humanity’s faith partnerships are founded on common ground—putting love into action. Congregations of diverse faiths across Greater Birmingham partner with us to build homes and make homeownership attainable for hardworking, low- to middle-income families. We are all united in our mutual belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

The Pope Leo Build is a Lenten home-building initiative uniting local Catholic churches, schools, and organizations to put faith into action—through both financial support and hands-on volunteer participation—all in an effort to provide a Habitat family a safe, affordable home.

The Building on Faith Partnership gives your congregation a flexible, hands-on opportunity to live out your faith through service.

We offer partnership levels that allow congregations of all sizes to participate in a way that aligns with their capacity and calling.
